The package arrived yesterday and I got home and tore the box open and took out the Hydraulic lift accessory. After a brief inspection I opened up the filler plug and added some oil. Then I turned the pump by hand and the cylinder began to move! I cleaned it up a bit more and got ready to go into the 30 degree garage to assemble the lift.
Everything went smoothly.
I started it up and it works great
I literally was there for about 20 minutes playing with the lever making the blower move up and down. Its so much better than manually lifting!
Here's a short video along with a few pictures: I also found out that if you leave the camera in the cold for a while the battery's drain
The tractor it came off of (Bolens 900)
Assembled and running!
Now for the video:
One more thing.... whats the correct amount of oil to put into these things? I got it filled about 1/2 way right now....

The Bolens 1050 Now has Hydraulics!

Did you rebuild that TRA10D? It sounds really good.
My old 1050 had a badly worn front crank bearing but it still run.
