Very nice. The engine looks like a conventional summer engine with an air filter. As long as it doesn't ice up, I'd certainly prefer this setup to the Snow King type engine without an air cleaner. No air cleaner always seems like such a bad idea.

 

The main reason for an air cleaner on any engine is to remove the dirt from the air it is breathing.  Not much dirt around when your throwing snow.  I have a 9 hp Briggs on a BCS 2 wheel tractor that I have to remove the air filter when I use the thrower or it will ice up the filter.  Remove the filter and the little bit of snow that gets in there goes right on through.  Can't adjust the carb so run with the choke on a little to compensate for it.
