You and your family are a great testament to how this country was built. Good luck in the rescue endeavor.

Powerstroker , I think its great your trying to help her out .

I'm in the process of parting a 1450 . If you need a gas tank , steering wheel , headlights , etc , whatever you need , I'll donate .

That looks like the later steering wheel that they went to just before they started the 82 series .

Just let me know which style steering wheel , early or late you need , I've got both .

Message me what you need .

I live in northern Ky. , just across the river .

I thank all of you for your support!!!! I had a old tired seat and put on it till I can find a better one, the steering wheel is off of my sons 1250 the one that was on it is the 1st picture(kinda looks like a pretzel) he said she can borrow it till we can find her one. the tires are ok and this tractor is kinda like the little engine that could!!! I just got it fired up and drove it around!!! I will change the fluids when I get a chance. the plastic gas tank will have to be replaced it is melted and the gas cap looks like a marshmallow, don't know how it didn't blow it was about 1/2 full of gas, but it looks like it will be able to be saved!!!! the important thing is that everybody is ok and everything can be replaced other than sentimental values. she had a 4x8 slate pool table that was burnt up and all of her candle making stuff was lost.  AGAIN GUYS THANKS FOR ALL OF YOUR SUPPORT!!!!

For some reason I get an error message when i tried to thank your post with the pics. Wish I could help, glad this tractor still has potential to be put back in service for her! She's been through enough I'd say.

If the slates on her pool table survived without breaking, be sure to have her hang on to them. My wife's 1" thick slate table is actually 3 precision ground slabs that would be reusable to build a new pool table or great surface plate type workbench countertops in the shop. I have moved her 4x8 table 3 times alone and that is a lifesaver being able to dissassemble it that far. If it is a one piece and part of it was broken, they can be cut with a masonry or diamond type saw blade to use for another purpose.

Good luck to you and her.

100_3073.JPG 100_3074.JPG 100_3075.JPG ok here's a progress report on (Tiffanies) 1450.. Jlaws donated the parts that I needed to get it going again so a big thanks to him. I did a lot of scrubbing and it helped some but you can still tell it has been through a fire. had to replace some wiring that I found while I was replacing the gauges. all in all it is still a good tractor. when I told her(Tiffanie) that I got it going again with some help from you guys she was in tears. now all I have to come up with is a carb. it was bad before the fire, if anyone has a good one please100_3076.JPG let me know.. here are some pics of it.

Nice job , I'm glad you got her fixed up . She should get many more years of service out of it .

I've always been of the opinion that I'd rather own a piece of equipment that was maybe not pretty but reliable , more than being pretty and not reliable .

Nice job! I knew there was a reason I like this forum so much. Its awesome to see you helping out someone in need and all the support; the world could use a few more people like that. Just goes to show that they really don't make them like the used to! Can't even kill an IH by lighting it on fire! (as an IH and Farmall guy it felt really good to say that).

Glad you got it running again after the fire . Hopefully she will be just as excited to see it again as she was the day you gave it to her

I may have just gotten a carb that is rebuildable, don't know yet! I'll have to make sure it is the right size. Give me a bit to check it over.
