Soup sounds good, Kenny! It definitely became soup weather here, today. Yesterday I ate my lunch sitting in front of the fan. Today, I had on long pants and a sweatshirt!

Burgers, broccoli and chips. We also had some leftover pasta chicken Alfredo from lunch. Kinda leftovers a la carte, but it sure hit the spot.

Since the kitchen staff has chosen to abandon me, tonight's dinner will consist of :
Baked beans with red pepper and bacon bits
Mushrooms sauteed in butter and garlic
Grilled pepper jack cheese sandwich
Black coffee.
Semi sweet chocolate chips for dessert.

I would like to ask that all open flames be extinguished within 1/4 mile of my house.

8 hours and counting til I get my favorite chicken. Have to let it rest a few hours then in the oven. Good thing I'll be outside most of the day. The house is going to smell way to good!

Trying a new scalloped potato recipe tonight. It uses Campbells Cheddar Cheese soup. I did add a few thin slices of Velveeta and some shredded sharp Cheddar cheese for good measure. About done. Meatloaf is cooking as well! Smells scrumptious!
