Tonight, I had a great meal.  I was counseling the stepson on a new venture for himself.  He's looking at purchasing a home.

I made steak, garlic mashed potatoes and on the side were carmalized onions and mushrooms.  Of course, we had the trout we caught yesterday.

I zested a lemon, put some fresh herbs in the cavity, rosemary, onion, lemons slices and salt and pepper.  I placed it in a double aluminum foil packet and steamed it in it's own juices for 11/2 hrs on 350 degrees.  Dinner was fantastic.

That looks yummy! I've only had trout one time. It was pan fried, but delicious!

Tonight I am at camp, by myself.  I chose the USA caught crab legs that defrosted on the way here.  Boy were they good.  Now, I'm sitting on the porch sipping Canadian whiskey, listening to the loons.

My Daughter got back from the State 4H Leadership Conference, and fly's back to N.C. tomorrow to be with Grandma. So I took her to a place called Blake's just down the road and we had Prime Rib, fresh Garden Salad with their homemade Ranch dressing, fresh Green Beans and some Shrimp. We got the large cut and split it. Man was it great having a Father & Daughter dinner together. I did the who open doors and pull out chair for her. I want her to know how a boy should treat when she finally gets to date.

Did a noodle dish for dinner. Spirals, shredded chicken, and frozen broccoli-cauliflower-carrots mix.
Little seasoning and wha-la. Mmmmmm.

last night my wife and son made bisquits and red eye gravy. That hit the spot!  Tonight Mary is working on some pork chops and green beens, baked potatoes.  Yum!
