I gave a neighbor some trade on this tractor on a motorcycle that he bought from me. Overall it is in good original condition. It came with the aluminum version of the deck and a newer heavy duty 3 point hitch with the longer handle. It also came with a 8 inch garden plow. The tractor also came with all the original owners and parts manuals for the tractor,deck,3 point hitch and garden plow, all in a nice 3 ring binder.

Wow, what a beaut. It sure has weathered the years well.
The 10 should have no problems pulling that 8".

Oh, upon further staring, I see the rear wheels have been touched up. Is the rest of it original?

Good deal its a nice looking tractor had to have been in out of the weather all these yrs. The left front tire is a good excuse to order tri-ribs yea the 10 horse will pull that plow like nothing.

MH,it appears to be original but I haven't had a chance to look it over very well yet. MNGB,I am a big tri rib fan,I have had a set on my Simplicity 700 for about 10 years. I also hang on to narrow front tires for spares. It needs a couple of things,a ignition switch and a tie rod but to be honest I probably will keep the 3 point and plow, then move the tractor. I am not a big fan of the grill style and I prefer the 3 speed hi/lo tractors. This one has the Peerless 2300 series trans axle,4 speed with creeper low first gear.

I don't think you did bad at all on that deal.  The three point and hitch is where the value is, anyway.

That is a decent little tractor.

Although I'm not a custom fan, I like how they look to sit low with the wide front tires.

I like the  custom yellow grill attachment hardware on the MTD  :poke:  :D
