Thank you. Long story short, it's not as nice as it looks and I paid too much for it. I found some things that shouldn't have needed fixing if it had truly received a full restoration and had everything that needed attention taken care of, as it was advertised. The previous owner didn't want to make things right. It's not a completely bad tractor by any means. Just needs some TLC.

Good idea for a thread.

My current inventory is three, subject to change at any last minute:

A Cub Original was on my hit list for years.  Then Kenny found one and twisted my arm.  :mad2:

Cub Cadet 1450 quietline with a whole boatload of attachments.  Tiller, snowplow, mower deck, snowblower, sleeve hitch and Brinly plow.  I hope to get it going this week.  Shouldn't take much.  No pictures yet.  It ought to to shine when it gets a bath though.

I also have a 149.  No picture of it either, and I've owned it for almost half a year and never touched it yet.  :wallbanging:  That's the story of my life right now.

Here's my 147 I rescued from the raspberry bushes.

I'd like to see something like your tractor in my working fleet.

I knew about that 147 for twenty years, Ben. The guy finally offered to sell it to me one winter, so I jumped on it. All it needed was an engine, hood, grill, fenders, some hydraulic lines, wheels, tires...etc. LOL! It's up for a full restoration if I can stop getting sidetracked!
