Everytime I looked in the rear view mirrow she was looking back at me, so I guess I can keep her?!?!?!

I think I have a 67 Gravely 424 with a Kohler k241 and starter generator...? She starts pretty easy and seems to run OK. Unfortunately I didn't get any attachments and would love to find a blower or at least a plow.

Looks like she was showing you her other end in the mirror.  Not saying that's a bad thing though.  Nice find.

My neighbor bought one of those new and he worked the tar out of it. I put rings in it about 15 years ago and he's still using it. Great machine, congrats!

Thanks!

This weekend I want to repaint the hood. Should I use a regular can like Krylon white spray enamel? And can I get a stencil or decal so it will say Gravely again?

To run a blower you will have to come up with a "front drive kit".  Somewhat hard to find a complete one and $$$ when you do.  Basically it runs the PTO through the front axle.  IF you get lucky and come up with one you can then run several of the walk behind attachments such as the rotary plow, rotary cultivator, 30 inch brush mower, 40 inch finish mower, and 42 inch sickle mower.

I always thought it'd be awesome to have a sickle mower mounted to the front of a Gravely rider!  The belly deck is 50 inches.

There should be a decal that says "GRAVELY 424" [plus it has the Gravely "four seasons" logo] down both sides of the hood.  There is also supposed to be the same decal across the back fender or "hood".

Those decals are available.  I see them advertised in the Gravely Gazette.
