Saw this on CL this morning just had to share.

Bolens 1054 with an MG 1100 4 cylinder

Only $325 wish it were closer

But I have a 1952 MG TD thast getting a Chevy 283,

one of these days.

For what its worth v6 and and rover aluminum V8's is popular

Don't. The 1952 MGTD should be restored and enjoyed for its quirks. There are too few to cut up any of them now days. That 283 belongs in a Chevy. I've got one in my 59 Apache 4wd and one in my 67 Nova wagon.  Good Luck, Rick

Not to worry

this one had a vette 327 back in the 70's

To much of the original components are long gone.

That and my pockets aren't deep enough to restore this one.

I did have a sweet 55 chevy long bed,but the economy forced me to sell

a couple years ago

How many horse power in that MG? How do you mow without burning strips in the grass?

I do believe the 1100 cc would have been around 48 horse

but could be bumped up to 60 with dual carbs and a header
