Your supposed to evacuate the ac but if you removed the dash and struggle you may be able to leave the ac alone. I have never seen one of those cores go bad before.

...only real choice is a Ram but they have girly suspension( probably really rugged but my brothers would bust my you know whats if i got a truck with coils lol) so whats left???

That's just sad!!! You really identify your manhood by the suspension under your truck? tsk!  What I tell folks is, if your a real man, you can drive any damn thing you want cause no one is gonna mess with you!!!

You could do what one guy around here did, get a old B61 Mack single axle and put a pickup bed on the back, no girly suspension there.

72 and older some Chevys and GMCs had coil suspension out back...
