gonna need a pretty good spacer.......and therefore a longer actuator arm.......

It looks like someone was "working" on it and got the bottom rotated 90°.

I wonder if someone put it in wrong and the cam bent the arm straight??

 

I guess you could mount a handle to it and work it manually :D

Are pumps for Kohler Magnum engines turned like this?

I thought Magnum blocks were the same as K blocks??

No.  Someone has taken it apart and forgot how it went together.  :(

 

Some are different than the comparable model K series pumps, but not significantly.  Its all in the actuating arm.

As said, no Kohler block would allow bolt up of a pump oriented like that one.  Been monkeyed with so it's one to avoid for sure!

Was it rebuilt? If so, just turn the part around.

Maybe he had in mind to use his die grinder, and grind a cavity into the block

for the fitting, but then discovered that his compressor is now sucking, after

he rebuilt it.
