Another good CL find! A sleeve hitch for my PGT9000, $30! $139 new at Sears. Came up on CL yesterday, picked it up this evening. Brand new!

Excellent Buy! Paid about 90 more than that.

I see three hardware purchases in your immediate future.

The 5/8 bolts that go thru & adjust the implement on the hitch are too (ask me how I know) flippin' short! Save yourself the Advil's & change them.

The lift adjustment bolt: needs to be a quick pin. I adjust it way to often for a bolt to be there.

The two lower pins that hold the hitch on the framework: if you have chains, they could catch. I used a stack of washers to hold them over toward the center, but will replace those with springs next time it's off.

Yes, I have one like this on my GT6000, have had the same problems with the lower pins: So much play in/out that it chewed some of the rubber off of the inside edge of the rear Ag tires. As you also mention, the lift adj. bolt would be better served by a quick pin.

I just couldn't stand it! I went home for lunch, went out back and installed the new sleeve hitch on the PGT9000. I hope to get home early enough this evening to get the tractor out for some pictures. Also, sometime soon, I need to load the tires.

I always review the local CL listings, especially the farm/garden area. Just happened to see it there.
