Just acquired a nice very hard to find 2000 rpm rear pto for the Bolens HT tractors,look like it was hardly used,was used mostly for the rear brush and finish mowers,with this style you could use your 3 point hitch,have only seen a hand full of these,might be able to say kinda rare

What does the "tighter" casting letters mean? I see there is some type of adjustment by the one.

Nate, that PTO unit is chain driven internally.

 

I'm guessing that it's an adjustment for taking up the slack in the chain as it stretches.

that is a cool find but i dont get why someone would seperate it from the mower. the pto is useless without the mower and the mower is useless without the pto so you need to find that mower.

I don't think its going to be that hard to find a brush or finish mower,I see some of smaller ones at auctions from time to time
