That looks like the hi-boy version of the DJ.  HB? The gas tank is wrong. This should be the same tractor although they made 3 different sizes of it.

The writing on the air cleaner is very difficult to read.

9 lines on the tag.

Donaldson made air cleaners for larger equipment, too.

Other Bolens applications for this particular air cleaner I don't know.

Both appear to be 1927. I'm not positive but there might be numbers stamped into the handle bars (serial number). Gunstuff will know more about that. You buying them?

I know of 3 that used the PB.
D, DJ, and  HB

The model A possibly also did gunstuff has one with a PB.

The handlebars are really pitted.  We might find the numbers when we prep it for painting.

That will be in the Spring.

One thing about getting this stuff when it is late in the year is it will have to wait for warmer weather.

It is snowing today.

Hi Doug,

We were told this gas tank was a drop tank.

Do you think it is an original to the Bolens?
