Thank you for the laugh and the bravery to say your 4-fathers only scored a 3.2.
I wish my ancestors had found a nice place south of here, but it is a pretty place most of the time.

If we get .5 inch of snow..or any ice at all..this whole area shuts down..and let it hit 20F and everyone's pipes bust...schools close.. no milk or bread can be found...

I can do without it. Trying to figure out how I can move way South cheaply!

Isnt Oklahoma pretty far south? I was in Tulsa for a week one summer for work training and it was hot as heck!

I didn't have four fathers, but only one.  They didn't mess me up quite as much as they messed you up.  They placed me in the sweet sunny south.  That was alright until Al Gore came along and showed the world the picture of a dying polar bear stranded on a little ice cube in the Caribbean.  Since then, the natural world rebelled against Al and did the exact opposite of what he says is happening!

I hate winter.  I came in from helping get a David Bradley back to life for a customer, and my hands were ready to fall off.

Since the Rev started this thread  -  for my local church service had a bagpiper for special music and he played a short version of Amazing Grace .  He explained later about playing at an event when the Prince of Wales showed up in Scotland . The Prince has a nice persona in public  .

A good time on Sunday . The piper went on to explain that nighttime practice in the UK seems to be forbidden .

I'm dam glad to wake every morning whether its summer or winter once we all get used to the cold again we'll be talking seat time and spring is right around the corner , and all  will be well again.

I don't do well in the heat. I actually enjoy snow and the things that go with it. Snowmobiling with the family, sledding, just the adventurous feeling you get going out after a big snowfall. Somedays at work when I have to spend most of the day outside after a blizzard it can get old but working in extreme heat would be just as bad.

Once you get used to the cold it isn't so bad. It's getting to that point that sucks. Don't have the motivation or desire right now to go out in the cold to work on any of the tractors. In a couple more weeks though should be used to it and will be out there again.

That is like saying sticking your balls in a bear trap isn't so bad once you get used to the pain.

Winter here in good old WI has come early this year also, and I'm thinking it's here to stay, again. I can't agree more with everyone that winter stinks, and it seems it get's worst for me every year.

With the vehicles not starting, to the way some peoples kids drive, frozen fingers and toes. But the trying to get through the snow being in a chair is a real drag.

Going to the store and try to get out of the truck with slop from the salt and melted snow in the parking lot without falling on your butt. Then come back out and drag that crap back home with soaked gloves from the gathering slop on the tires and into the house for it to melt all over the floor. Shoveling a path to the shop so I can get in the truck to plow the driveway, oh yah, winter sucks here too.
