Nice looking tractor even with the newer parts. Where else could you find a tractor this unique? & it led you to eventually find GTTALK, Id say that's a bargain at half the price. :D.

:welcome: to GTTALK.

:welcome: To the group!
I can't say if you got a good deal or not, value is in the eye of the beholder.
I will tell you this, when you get one of those Bolens running halfway like it was designed to, you ain't gonna want nothing to do with the modern junk out there any more!
As far as looks go, my time and budget calls for "preservation" in lieu of "restoration". That and a promise to my girls that they could pick the color when we brought home the second Bolens led me to Safety yellow!!! (shhh. I'm trying to start a revolution. lol)
It turned out nice, and best of all it's a color that won't be confused with another brand. (even if it makes the doc secretly wish he could meet me in a dark alley. lol)

Seriously though, for the Doc. The original wasn't "that bad" Although, the white does remind me of a p.o.s. cub cadet my granny had when I was a kid, I had to fix it every time I mowed for her. The time will come that I make it look like it's supposed to...just not now.

The site automatically re-sizes the pictures so there is no need to post from photo bucket....

Welcome to GTTalk Dan!!! The greatest site ever. Everyone here will help with anything. There is so much knowledge here. Basically you can ask these guys anything and they can find the answer for you. Be careful it can be very addicting though.

I am also new to this site, I bought a Bolens HT20 last year with a loader and backhoe. I love it!
Sometimes difficult to find parts for it and last week I found another HT20 with the idea of having it as a parts tractor.
I bought it and it is in great shape (engine and tractor serial number are only 36 apart from my other HT20) and that after about 35 years. To nice for a parts tractor and now I am looking for some attachments.... (tiller or blade).
I will post some pics soon from my Bolens with loader and backhoe.
A very nice site this is.
