So i have recently acquired a GT5000 that caught fire.  The wheels, weights, tires, seat, deck, rear fenders, transaxle all seem to be OK.

What parts are the most valuable on this machine?  I plan on selling the parts that make the most money and probably scrap the rest.

I am curious if the internals of the motor are OK.... It would be a shame to throw out such a big motor

hp........  Better pictures to come....

I bought one like that a couple of years back, seems the electric clutch is what stated it ablaze, aside from the plastic and wiring(and electric stop solenoid) the engine was fine(had a Kohler 25 on it)

Don't look bad at all in this picture!  I'm voting for saving it all, new wires, and rubber items, belts if needed and get it back runnin'.  From this pix, don't look like hood is even that bad? You drive something nice like this after having older rattly, vibrating rigs, you will really like them. That is big enough model also to fix I would say. I would at least fix enough to try an engine run and drivetrain test. If they go, would fix it.
