Hi all

Here are some photos of the last ploughing match of the year There were tthree of us in the horticultural section and I came in Third and was delightedI know were I let myself down but all in all I was very happy.Hope you like the pics

Hi

Here are some photos of of my plough it is very basic and works well. my winter project is to modify a long mould board from a walk behind ,more when this happens

Ps the plough is part of a pair they call them butterfly ploughs , you can plough  like the modern one way ploughs

But when you take part in a compitition you can only use one plough

As you have to throw out your feering and then throw it together again when you plow your plot you then finish with a finish you are then judged and given marks accordinaly

Thanks for the closeups George. I know about the opening split as we call it and the finish as I have been a member of the Ontario Antique Tractor Ploughmans Association for 17 years. We don't have a garden tractor class but it has been discussed lately so we will see what happens...Dave
