This to stinking early for this!!! Then to top it all off its not going to hit 30* for at least 10 days after Mon. Luckly we're only in the 12" swath (if you can call it lucky). Feeling sorry for everybody in the 16"+.

Ahh, I'm feeling the love. In that map, I'm right above the circle part of the six. The kids are very excited.

Yesterday, I got the rest of the garden cleaned off, the shed cleaned and everything put to bed, the 4 wheeler is fueled up and ready to pull sleds around the yard, and I'm waxing the snowblower this morning.

I hit something with the blower the last time I used it, it bent the auger flighting where it connects to the cup. I had to grind it, heat it, bend it back, and weld on it. I went about 1/4" and ran out of wire in the welder. I needed to run to town for diesel anyway, but still!

Still have to put the chains on, and put the snow tires on the Aveo.

Looking forward to sub-zero temps next weekend, Nate? :wtf:

Very unusual to get a higher snowfall amount in this area. In that map, Interstate 94 runs SE from St. Cloud to St. Paul. Highway 23 runs NE from St. Cloud to Hinckley. Both are four lane divided highways at St. Cloud, and many times act as a divider for storms. A storm will usually push one way or another when it hits that point. Not looking like that this time.

scientists say, that middle europe gets no winterperiod - mankind helps, to make mother nature mad and it's just the beginning. For all the people now and in the future I hope, that the scientist are wrong.

It looks like you'll get more than we will but yes very unusual to get that much this early. 1991 is the last time we had this much this earl . Not going to be much fun for a few days that's for sure!

It snowed most of the morning here but too warm to stick. Sounds like most of the fun starts tonight and all day tomorrow.

Got the Kubota with the blower backed into the lean all fueled up and ready to go.  :D

I'm just glad I got my scrap iron skid steer. It'll make life a little easier moving to wet heavy stuff we're going to get.

Don't forget the pop bottle, otherwise you'll have stop and run inside.

That is a great idea.  So glad I was not the only one to think that way.  :bounce:

Put the plow on the truck today, not a daily driver. No snow expected until Tuesday. They are afraid to make a prediction as to how much. Estimates are a dusting up to 2 feet of lake effect! I hope not, but it is almost that time of year.
