im puting my 14hp kohler back together and didnt see a torq listing in my manuel. anybody have it thanks bill

I put mine to 20 ft lb then 25 ft lb then to 30 ft lb.Give it a couple minutes between step torquing.It will squish the seal and shims and it needs time to settle.That way you don't warp the bearing plate and cause an unwanted oil leak.

 

I put both the Bearing plate and Oil pan bolts to 30 ft lb.It felt good there.

 

 

My book shows 35 ft lb on the Bearing plate and Oil pan.

I did put 1 that I had here at 35 and it started to pull the lock washer into the aluminum.I've never had 1 loosen up or leak at 30 ft lb.
