Hi Guys,

I was recently contacted by a very nice woman located in Powhatan, VA who's Dad passed away and collected a couple very nice tractors and engines. She is interested in selling the tractors for her mom and asked me for approx values which I provided her based on the pictures she had sent me.

As much as I'd love the tractors myself, unfortunately she is too far away for me to be able to purchase them. I want to help her out and see that they find a great home, so I offered to list them here, providing the descriptions that she gave me with the pictures she gave me and her contact info.

For further details, please contact Pam at pleas4us(at)aol.com

Note: The engine in the Chainsteer appears to me to be a later model Briggs and the seat doesn't look to be original but otherwise a very nice, in tact Chainsteer.

Pam's words to me below:

The 14 HP Economy with mower deck is seriel # 26566 and runs.

The old chain drive Economy has not been started in a while, but did run last time.  It has a seriel # 920

We also have an old Sears and Roebuck walk behind steel wheeled tractor series 28 with seriel #9175047 and the engine on it is also Sears & Roebuck series 38 seriel # 50020438

My dad restored old tractors, mostly John Deere and Economy, he passed away over a year ago and my mom is trying to sell some of the items.  If you have any idea of a fair price, we would appreciate it.  I do not want my mom to be taken advantage of, so I am trying to help her research the items.

If anybody ends up making a deal on these tractors, let me know and I'll update the ad accordingly.

I like all of those tractors, especially that old Sears walk behind. That thing is a beauty.
