Our daughter is visiting from VA and she has been telling us about Republic wireless and how inexpensive they are.  I would love to get our cell phone bill down so I'm thinking about it.  Does anyone have any experience with Republic?  I would like to hear the pros and cons.  Thanks

You have to watch a lot of those coverage areas. The small time companies try to share towers with Verizon and att.

See how her phone does in your area.

I've always stuck with Verizon. Best coverage I've noticed. And with my booster in the car there aren't too many places I can't call out of. I pay 120 for 2 smart phones with my work discount.

Those Buy as you use phones with cards are the cheapest way to go if you don't use much. Name brands tho have better coverage of country and fewer problems. If you are on net with one alot, would not go with cheapie phone. If just text and calling, t hey aren't too bad.

I have it set up with tracfone, two phones with around 120 min monthly cost me $17. doesn't get any better than that for us here in the northeast where the mountain ranges cut down on the cell coverage.

Service only comes in two forms,,,,good, fast and cheap. Pick any two.  I have found the cheaper services come with a price such as limited service area so best if you found someone in your specific area using Republic...JMHO
