I have a ford 120 open side. I haven't had it very long. I need to know what kind of fluid I should put in it? Tried looking in the manual section but no luck. Maybe I wasn't looking in the right place.

If it's the LGT 120, that is a gear drive. The 125 is the hydro. Is it pre '72?

If your tractor looks like this, http://gardentractor...p-old-blue-120/ it is called Ford 120 (no "open side" term used pre-72) is supposed to use Type A auto trans fluid which is nla, Dexron 2 is compatible which i believe also crosses with Dex3.  I use it in mine works fine

If it looks like this one, http://gardentractor...s-fluid-change/ it is called Ford LGT "open side," is 72-up, apparently may use hydraulic fluid, good luck
