Brian called me back, and he's doing pretty well.  Pain killer not quite taking car of the pain, but it never does.  He did manage a chuckle, but it's not easy just yet.  He had company come in, so I let him go to visit with them.  They told him he'd be there 5 days, which was a shock to him as he figured 3 at the most, but he might beat the 5 days yet.

Seems they like to tell you it'll take longer than you want to hear. Keeps you off their backs for a while and then they can make you happy by letting you out "early". I'm so glad the surgery went well, one more hurdle out of the way successfully.

I think your are right.  I know most of my stays in the hospital were like that.

He's been sleeping a lot, still in the hospital doing good.  He "may" get to go home today.

Glad to know he is still making progress.
Bet by the time the 4th day is there, they will be shipping him home just to get him out from under foot. :poke:

That's the secret Brian, be irritating and they will want you out of there. :D

I sure hope he gets to go home today, where he can really rest and recoup from all this.

They'll just shut off the life support there!

Brian just called and he's on his way home! He had to stay till he had a #2 event, but all is good. He's looking forward to a solid uninterrupted night of sleep. Thank you God for healing Brian!

That's good news, nothing beats a good nights rest in your own bed. Brian hope all is well, good luck getting back on your feet.

Well, we now know he is not full of #2! Took him a while to appease the Dr's on that one.

Glad you are home now, Brian! Hope the rest you got while in there helped and you can now start getting more of that. Thanks to the Lord for seeing you through this.
