With any type of hard endeavor it is always that last mile that is the hardest.  Not so much that you are tired, although you are, but because the end is in site and you just want to get over that finish line.  I was thinking about you this morning and I thought you were getting pretty close to being done.  As with any worth while endeavor hang in there and remember you have a big cheering section here cheering you on.

Well, I didn't get any sleep last night and worked part of the day today before I finally had to give up and come home. I did get a 2 hr nap this afternoon and should be able to sleep tonight. Gotta get some work done tomorrow at work because I am falling behind on a couple jobs that need to be gone.

Brian, I know in a job like yours, if you don't do it, it doesn't happen. But you have to take care of yourself now, to ensure there is a you later! God will provide, brother.

Today is the big day. I'm getting my final Chemo treatment as I type this update. I will still have the pump on for 2 more days, but I'm finished when I take it off on Friday. I am so happy that this is the last one. Next week I get a CT scan to confirm that I'm Cancer free, then it's off to see my Surgeon on the 14th of October to set up my surgery to remove the Ostomy bag. I'm not far off from getting my life back to normal, at least I Hope & PRAY so. I'm so ready to get back to working on the projects I haven't felt like messing with, as I have been barely about to work everyday.

I thought of you first thing this morning and SO happy for you to be taking your final treatment.  Onward & upward to better times my brother!  In a couple weeks you'll start rejuvinating fast!  The mental aspect alone will be fantastic!  :dancingbanana:

That's great! It's been a real boost to my faith, getting to take this voyage with such a strong believer. I'm happy for you that the end is so close, we'll keep praying till we hear the final news.
