It's been a good day today so far, all I have been doing is sleeping, eating a little and taking my pain Meds.. Been checking in here and catching up on what's going with everyone else. mainly just trying to get well enough to get the contrast scan to see how big the mass is. Also having friends stop by a PRAYING with me and my family. Didn't know I could sleep so much, but boy I have been.

Sounds like you are catching up on some much needed rest too! I hope you can do the scan soon. I'm sure you have lots of questions that need answers!

You're sleeping a lot because you're flat out worn down physically & mentally Brian.  It's VERY important you continue to get plenty of rest, but I don't need to tell you that.  Keep up the current program buddy!

Hey Brian - in 94 I was told to prop up my feet and rest before total fatigue set in ( after my release ) . Tried it this afternoon , great stuff .

Sitting around with your thumb up your butt beats the inability to do so.

Unless you have a long thumb, I guess.

Look who's talking. I hope you are trying to practice what you preach. You BOTH need the rest. Hoping and praying everything works out OK.

No s$&{ there, Sherlock. Ya know he's just plotting what he will try doing first when he gets out of there. I hope his wife gets a tazer for emergencies, like when he won't listen.

Brian, I'm definitely planning on taking a few days to sit & drink coffee all day!  But you gotta get more rest than I, as my most major issue has passed.  Yours awaits you even if the cancer is completely localized.  You will be going through at least a 2nd surgery.

But honestly, I will take it easy a while....maybe even 3 whole days!  :rolling:

I could have easily made a dozen laps around this unit, so I am taking it easy!   :smilewink:   My right leg has been aching like a light cramp, and walking has helped a LOT.

I sure wish I could be down there in Texas to help Brian out.

Good to hear you had a good day Brian. I know it's an old cliché but sometimes taking things one day at a timme is the best. Thanks for checking in. Praying for your healing & being able to rest.

Thanks guys, having troubles sleeping so here I am on GTtalk at 4 in the morning. Pain had increased through out the night. Not sure why, but boy I really hurt at times. Getting ready to take next dose it a few minutes, maybe I will after they kick in.
