Wow, it sure feels good to be away from work for a few days. Really having a great time just relaxing up here in the mountains of N.C. Got in Sunday morning after driving straight thru. been sleeping a lot while here. Tomorrow we are heading out to see Mom and Dad up in IN, going to make a very needing swing thru Ball Hollow and visit with my ole Buddy Daniel for a while. Last treatment really kicked my butt, so this is just what I needed. I have 5 more treatments left, can't wait to get this part over with and get on with my life.

Glad you are enjoying the trip, Brian! Maybe just getting away for a while will make a big difference for you!

Good to hear you are getting a break. If our county fair wasn't starting this week, I would run over to the foreign country and visit ya :D

Well, we made it to IN and got to spend time in KY with Daniel. Had a great time there with Daniel and Teresa. They ran to town and picked a fried chicken dinner with all the fixins, had it all ready to eat when we got their and to top it off they even made us home made ice cream. Going to get some rest now and check back in later.

We had a wonderful visit with Brian and all his girls.  Great family which I call my own.  I just wish the visit could have lasted longer as it was an escape from everyday worries.  He brought me an excellent sickle mower too!  Bad thing is, we left it in the yard, as there was little call for rain, and now it's raining.  I'll put on a rain coat & use the FEL to put it in the garage & blow it dry, then spray it down with WD40.  It's been quite a while since I've gotten to see Brian, and we've both been through some unsavory times.  I think we've been good for one another throughout all this.  Love ya Brother!

Well, we are back home in the high heat and I don't like it at all. We decide to stay until Monday morning and leave together, pulled out a round 8AM and pulled into our driveway around 1AM so all in all even with the girls and their extra stops we made pretty good time. Wednesday I went for my 7th chemo treatment and it's kicking my butt right now, didn't get any sleep last night until it was time to get up and go to work. Heat is really hot today at work, I did get the key ways cut in both of the classifier shaft today and will start to install the bearing packs tomorrow morning to get them really to install into the classifiers.

Hope you're feeling better soon Brian, try and stay out of the sun if you can. A friend of ours had a reaction after taking chemo and then sitting out in the sun thinking the sunlight would help him heal while he rested.

Brian I apologize for being absent from the thread for awhile but you and Daniel have always been in my thoughts and prayers. I agree with Daniel that the two of you have been great for each other through all of the hurdles that each of you have had to cross.
