Ron is getting stronger each day and I am checking in on him a couple times a day. His heart is also improving slowly, still no idea how to combat the Cancer.

I have had a good weekend, got some much needed yard work done since it didn't rain today. Has rained everyday for about 3 weeks I think. Take next Chemo treatment on Wednesday and get pump back off on Friday.

I found that Port that was in my chest, had them save it when removed. Suprised none of you had to have one. Couple pix.

Been a while since I have given any updates, sorry about that. Last treatment was pretty good, just made me tired. Next treatment is this Wednesday, with the pump removal again on Friday.

All last week we were up at TEXAS A&M for the State 4H contest to end this year. Briley, Our oldest placed 4th out of 23 kids in Public Speaking, Open Educational with a 12 minute memorized speech. Her Leaders for Life Team (Parliamentary Procedure) places 5th out of 26 teams. Both of these were her first year in these events, so I think she did very well. She also placed10th out of 34 kids in the Solo/Band Share the Fun competition playing the song on a piano and singing, not bad at all.

Ron has made it out of the hospital and is back in Indiana, getting ready to move all his stuff back there from Las Vegas to stay in his home town of Crawfordsville where Our family is. Still trying to find a Cancer treatment that he can do.

Glad Briley did well! Congrats to her! Sorry the treatments are zapping you, but soon there won't be any! I hope they can find something for Ron! Keep us updated, even just a short message!

Thanks for the update.  Before you know it all the chemo will be a thing of the past! :D

I take it all the rain didn't didn't affect the 4H activities.  As I remember college station isn't that far from Houston, I'm thinking about any hour or so.  We have some friend in Bryan TX we visit every once in a while.  Glad Briley did so well! Her first time out in an event and placing 4th is quite well!

I sure hope Ron can find some kind of treatment that will help.

Glad you got your input port removed. Now you have to find a way to use it on a tractor.

Congratulations to Briley! And to you for staying upbeat and continuing full bore ahead with life, not an easy thing when chemo has you feeling wiped.

Thanks Willie, but it was GL who had his port removed, I still have mine for a few more months.

Today went OK, had an issue with my port line not returning blood again. They used a desolving drug to clear the blockage and also will now have a "Dye test" done next Thursday to make sure the port line is in the right position in the vein. Already have knumbness in my feet this time and not so much in my hands or mouth yet. It did take all day to get the treatment over with today and I'm kind of tired.
