Thanks Guys for all your continued support and PRAYERS !! My cousin Ron Melvin is doing a lot better today then yesterday and yesterday was a big improvement over Monday. The Drs. have so far got 7 litters of fluid off his body and will continue to run him on kidney dialysis for another 24 to 36 hrs. They are also starting a case study on him to see what the effects of Chemotherapy has on heart transplant patients. They, the Drs. have called all across the country and can't find out any info on the effect of Chemo on transplant people, so this is going to be a very important study for the future of Ronnie's life and other transplant patients who get Cancer. The Drs. did a heart biopsy on Ron this morning to see how much damage might have done to his heart from the Chemo treatments that almost killed him over the past few months. The Drs. Life-flighted him into Emery University Hospital on Monday after his Drs. in Las Vegas couldn't get a handle on him and the fluid buildup.

I am doing fine other then I had to re schedule my Chemo treatment to next week from this week. I hope to fly back home on Friday if Ron continues to improve here in Atlanta.

Continued PRAYERS are asked for and VERY MUCH Appreciated !!! THANK YOU ALL !!!! :worshippy1: :worshippy1: :worshippy1:

Well, we have good news and bad news to report on Ron from here in Atlanta. His heart in into rejection and the Drs. are trying to get it back to normal getting his immune system shut back down. The good news is that he is off dialysis and is geting stronger. The bad news is that they can't figure out a way to battle the Cancer without super charging his immune system and it attacking his heart again. The Drs. are talking to the medical leaders all around the world about this case to see what treatment they can give Ron ti battle the Cancer and also save him from the heart rejection at the same time. We are PRAYING for a Cure to be found or invented to save his life.

I am going to fly home tomorrow morning and maybe come back at the end of next week for a few more days so he is not all alone. I am doing well and getting plenty of rest and eating well. Just sitting here doing nothing really but here for him for moral support.

I pray for both you and your cousin brother!  I know that with your issues, that your cousin's issues tug your heart even more.  I figure you are much like me Brian, and when we're suffering, we feel other's pain and misery as though it is our own.  Some people when ill just become angry at the world, where I become more sensitive towards other's feelings, much like you do Brian, so do take care of yourself.  May God help the Dr's find the answers to Ron's dire needs.

We have been told that there is no way to battle the Cancer and keep Ron's heart alive, so they are giving him 4 months to 1 year to live with no way to stop the spread of the Cancer. I am very heart broken over this news and all I know to do is to turn it over to my LORD and Savoir JESUS CHRIST and PRAY for a Miracle to take place for Ron.

Asking for PRAYERS for a Miracle form all Y'all for my Cousin (Brother) Ron Melvin today, Thank you so much in advance !!

At the airport in Atlanta at the gate waiting to board the plane for a 7:15 takeoff back to the rain forest. Should be in Houston in a couple hrs for a plane change and on to San Antonio before noon. Loose a hr with time change on flight.

Ron is beening moved to a regular room this morning from CCU. He will be more comfortable in a private room without all the monitoring. He is resting well and getting stronger everyday.

Brian, I'm so sorry to hear of this out come.  When he get out of the hospital tell him to go find an Herbalist who specializes in herbs and cancer.  I had a friend who had cancer and the Dr's gave him 6 months.  His wife is a Herbalist and she said no way and started researching and treating him on her own.  He beat the cancer but 10 years later other medical issues did him in.  Wishing Ron all the best.
