. They won't even let me drive yet because of the pain meds. . . .

You don't need no stinking pain meds! Life is out there waiting for where you left off last year.  :smilewink:

Take it easy for a bit longer, Brian. Heal up so you are ready to go when the Doc turns you loose!

I wish I could, don't do well sitting around not doing anything. They won't even let me drive yet because of the pain meds.

You could get a bunch of toothpicks & build a nice wooden GT model!  As far as operating machinery.....well, you know.  Best to keep all those digits intact.   :smilewink:

Well, things are going good around here other then I am tired of watching everyone else doing stuff and me not being allowed to do anything. Dad mower the yard today with the ole Wheel Horse for me today. Once he figured out how it operate the hydro, he did a great job. It was 82 today and my grass is growing about an inch a minute it seems like. Sure will be sad to them go back home next Monday, it's really been nice having Mom and Dad here during all this.

It's always a sad thing when family goes away after having a house full. One good thing is you have nice green grass to look at. Most of our snow was gone [a bit early for us] but last night & today we've gotten about 4" and its heavy wet stuff. Looks like the middle of winter again. So for me it's very depressing. Won't be long and you'll be the one sitting on the tractor doing what you like. Best to wait untill things heal ,you sure don't want to have infection set in and then have to wait longer. It'll all come Brian just be patient.

That would kill me. I would probably be like my father was, he was carrying in firewood 10 days after open heart surgery, couldn't stop him back then.

At least its green and warm so you can enjoy. Use the rest to heal!

Sorry guys, we had lots to do today in New Braunfels after I went to the Oncology Dr today. But

I am 100% CANCER FREE !!!!!

Dr's report came back that I am completely clean, they removed 12 lymph nodes and 2 of them were Cancerous and completely dead after the first round of Chemo and Radiation. The other 10 were clean along with everything else that they checked.

I will start my next round of Chemo around the 14th of April and that will be 12 treatments 2 weeks apart so it will take 6 months to complete. This is a Preventative measure.

Oh Brian, I am SO happy for you and your family, I can't even explain how relieved I am that those beautiful girls will be knowing their Daddy for a good long time yet.
