Not much resting going on in here. I am waiting to see the Dr. who told me yesterday that he would see me this morning, it's now 5:20 PM and that's why I am a little "Testy" as I was waiting for his instructions on what needed to happen today. Got the phone call from the Dr. a little while ago, so I'm getting the "NG" tube pulled and get to start on clear liquids. At least I'm making progress and getting closer to the going home. Main thing is that the Dr. want to make sure I don't have any infections when I go home. Gut infections are some of the toughest to beat so I get the worry with them.

One more meal to make sure you are good to go is OK.  Better to error on the safe side...  Hope you get to go home soon.

Well, things are coming along quickly now. Dr. has me now on pill form pain meds and got the cath out. Looks like I'm going home tomorrow.
