Below is a copy & paste of what Brian's wife Joey put on facebook.  I am sure hoping this means they didn't have to detach his colon to wear a bag, but I'll have to find out more.  Sounds like our Brian is gonna be AOK!

Thank God for His mercy and Grace Brian J. McAnulty is out of surgery and in recovery!

GREAT NEWS... YOU MAY NOT BELIEVE... When Dr Kahlenberg got in the colonto remove the tumor... the only thing left of the tumor was the SCAR where it had been!

The Doc removed the damaged part of the colon and the limp nodes surrounding and said "He got it all!"

Hallelujah! God is an awesome God! See... the prayer of the righteous availeth much! Amen?

Brian will be in recovery for an hour or so and then we'll all be able to see him.

I'll update again later.

Please keep him in your prayers for a miraculous-super-fast recovery...

Thank you all so much for showing my Brian how very much HD is loved... y'all have touched our hearts in the most tender and special way!

All our love...

All original medical plans stayed the same, so he'll be wearing the bag 6 months and continue treatment. I have no doubt he will be cancer free....heck, he likely is now!
