That's great news Brian! There are obviously lots of types of colon cancers, I never had chemo at all. My first colonoscopy found the tumor and a week later laproscopic (?) surgery was supposed to take it out. 4 or 5 small scars. Two more days after that and I was so sick they went in with a big ol' slice about 8" long! Infections were the culprit for the second one. When I finally got coherent enough to ask my surgeon "how much did you cut out?" He asked "which time"? Well I figured I needed some detail after he asked me that! I said "Well----lets start with the first operation I guess" He said "about this much" and held up his index fingers about 10" apart!. Then I was really skeptical and asked him "ok, how about the second one?" He repeated the first description! 11 lymphnodes were removed too.
Looking at it now how he tried to play it down was pretty funny but we didn't have much of a sense of humor about it at the time!
We are so glad this is going better for you!
