All went well and I am free from the pump now. Heading to work, hopefully I can salvage some of the day.

My ex-wife's grandmother had the port in for quite awhile, she said it was a pain in the butt.

Glad you are doing well!

I just had the ports, but DID learn to sleep only on my  back during that time. I'm side sleeper, but thing didn't feel right that way and when in Hospital for big stay, had tubes hooked up 24 hrs, feeding me liquids. Had to p** every 20 minute or so, I swear, but it was to "wash" me out or something I guess?

Fixing to go home after my first full day at work since before my surgery on Nov 3rd and boy I'm wore out. I guess I'm not used to being on my feet all day running some of the shop machinery. I bet I sleep well tonight as I may have to take a nap on the drive home, it really makes me tired driving into the sun when it's such a pretty day like today. It got up to 78 here at the shop and it's 80 at the house 50 miles to the west. Had a good day and got a lot done, but will have a lot more to get out of the shop this week.

You must be feeling good if your thinking about eating Walleye. I seen you sneaking around where they were talking about fishing.

Nice to see your out and about today. Hope you get a good nights sleep.

Slept all night, didn't even do the middle of the night bathroom trip. Feel god this morning and it's nice to be able to get to work before 10AM like I was doing with my treatments. Will take it a little slower today as I now know I can't keep up the pace I tried yesterday.

Like Daniel found out it will take a while for you to rebuild your stamina and strength.  Even though you tolerated the chemo well it still took a toll on your body.  The good thing is when all this is over and done with your stamina and strength will come back and this will just be a memory.

Had a good week all in all, got a lot of work done and didn't get too wore out. Went to the Eye Docs today and now I have to get Bi-focals. Guess I'm done buying Dollar General cheaters. I have to head out about 5AM to take parts up to a job that Dad's out on, he's only about 7 hrs north east of me in Texarkana.
