Just said a prayer for ya Brian.  At least you don't have to sit for hours at a time taking chemo with the pump thingy.  Both my sisters had to sit for long periods getting their chemo.  One of my sisters just started another round of chemo.

I am very thankful for that, I will get thru this. I just need to take the time and do what I need to do.

I'm just getting caught up on this Brian although you have been on my mind and in my prayers.  So good to see that you are meeting this head on with a smile on your face.  Attitude is a big player in the healing process.  You seem to have that part kicked.  It must be pretty crowded in that treatment room, what with all of us in there with you and all.

That is really good news.  I have never gone through chemo but from what I have read and what others have told me it can be pretty rough.  i hope that you continue to feel good through the entire treatment.

Well today was a little more of a challenge for me. For some reason even though I slept well last night for about 6 hrs which is about normal, I was tired all day. I came home from work and took a 3 1/2 hr nap, wife said that I was really sawing the logs too. Anyway, I'm up now and feel better, but still feel as if I could go right back to sleep. Hopefully I won't have any issue later trying to sleep tonight. Other then that I am feeling well with all the treatments that I going though so far. I keep PRAYING that I don't have any issues as I move forward with my treatments like being sick to my stomach.

Tex, I never had much stomach problems when I did my chemo. Guess there are lots of diff chems they can use and everyone is diff. I did feel a little nausiated at times, but no real "action" to go with it. Think the tired part is how it was most of time too. Just slow down on your wants and projects and take it as it comes, do other easier things instead. AS I noted, worst part was the way food all tasted bad for me. Smells of certain foods or just things in house were odd. Couldn't stand to drink Mountain Dew, my most favorite drink, and started to drink some of those weird new flavored drinks with weird names till I found one I could like. It was mostly Carrot juice, a weird combination I probly  wouldn't like now at all. Greasy foods, not so good anymore. Got a little thin and weaker, but not like I needed help to move around or nothing, just not as strong as when was normal. Keep posting as you go along, seeya later!
