It very well could be.  I can't for the life of me remember when they started using hoods.  That is a nice one but, looking at the price, it's not that nice.  You would have to have the serial number to be sure of the year.

The fenders indicate that it is a real early model.

It looks very nice in the pics, but $3000 nice?

There also seems to be more '50's dual transmission tractors coming to the surface.

I was at a tractor show in Kent, Ct in late Sept and there was a '59/60 tractor for sale that had a dual trans setup in it.

Thanks fellows, I'm not up on the early tractors so was curious, and I agree its not $3000.00 nice, I'm very happy with my 84 1618 and will keep watching for attachments.
