I'm happy to see you are on the mend Daniel!

**Now the peeve I and many other folks have:  To see anyone have to spend that much $$$$ on health care is awful!   :wallbanging:

$15K a year is a bitter pill to swallow..  Kinda takes the 'fun' out of getting things taken care of by our medical professionals.  I dislike the monopoly that our present regime has created and made Health care into since it's quest to make it 'affordable'   :yeah_that: Yet another screw up for sure as we all head to the poor house..  I know I'll never retire due to it's high costs.  My father in law is facing many changes as well.  It ain't pretty..

So Daniel-->  Take it easy and heed the Doc's advice now.  Blood clots are potentially big trouble so take things slow and easy even though I know you won't want to!  (I wouldn't either)  You are a lucky man and we aren't ready to say goodbye to yet another friend here.   :urock:

Are you going to have to be on blood thinners for a while?  That can be kind of a pain because they have to check your blood about once a week.

I sent Brian a text to see how he is doing.  He may be in a bit more pain then he thought. A whole new meaning for PITA. :smilewink:

Well, not great news, but not awful either.  Lifetime on blood thinners.   And won't go home earlier than Monday.  Gonna take longer to get the blood thinner stabilized.  Oh well, I will be alive, so gotta be thankful.

Brian has some battles to fight now too, and I hate that......simply hate it!

I'm glad to hear they have things under control now, Daniel. Sorry for the added meds to take! You need the rest, so lean back and enjoy it. Let's pray Brian gets well soon also!

You guys please say a prayer for my sister.  2 of my sisters got colon cancer about a year ago.  One had a colonostomy & so far doing good.  My sister Angela however is not.  She had spots appear on her left lung & had to have a section of lung removed.  Now, a few months later and cancer is now in her liver.  She is having a horrible time.

Colon cancer runs in my family, so I know what that is like.

I hope Angela's cancer is not too far advanced.  I know the liver is a bad place for it to be.

Daniel, I'm sorry for missing this thread. Not sure how I didn't see it. You have my prayers for a speedy recovery and full healing. Medication is tolerable, as long as you can be there for your wife and family. Glad to see that you're getting some much needed rest, and please, take your time getting back on your feet, and don't over do it. Take Care my Friend!

Gonna be a big bill as our insurance is 15 grand deductible, then 80/20 to the 40 grand out of pocket limit. Seems life constantly puts rocks in the road we have to travel around, or toss in the back & haul the rest of our lives.  I'm trying to stay upbeat, and for now I can.  Hoping I can continue.
