If your going to use the four wheeler for transportation, let some of the air out of the tires for a softer ride! A sudden bounce could do damage!

These Titan tires stand tall even if there is no air in them, but on the blacktop they give a good ride  since I'm creeping along enjoying the scenery.  Not enough speed outta me to make a bounce even happen!  :rolling:   Seriously, after the pain I've been through, I'm being as careful as one can be.  I want no part of taking steps backward healing wise.  I understand you guys worrying that I'll push the envelope, as usually I always do, but not this time boys.....I've met one bad-A wall of pain with this surgery, and it's REALLY got me by the gonads when it comes to being careful.   Teresa has been through enough, so I have to do the right thing ALL the time.

Oh, and as far as the 4 wheeler, it will at least be the 6 to 8 weeks before I ever take it off pavement.....even slowly.

Daniel, I haven't been on for a long time. Sorry to hear that you have gone through so much pain. But I'm glad you are on the "downhill side" and on your way to recovery. Prayers for you always.

Thought you guys might get a laugh at one of my neck "pain management assistants".  It's a Giraffe "pillow pet".  Works perfectly with the computer chair to relieve stress on my neck.

When we cleaned out the camper we found Heaths little  stuffed animal neck pillow. The horseshoe shaped things. I was goofing around with it and put it around my neck and promptly fell asleep on the couch. Pretty comfy.

Glad it helps ease your pain, Daniel. I guess a giraffe would be a good pain expert... since they have more neck than anybody!!

Slept in good this morning.  3 hours past pain meds time and feeling pretty good, so may see how the day goes without them.  I actually feel loopier in my head without them in my system, but just may be the extra sleep causing it.  So far, so good without them!

Not much getting outside today. Cold & rainy right now.  Dad was at the old shop tinkering with the MF 175.  He & Josh tried their best the day before yesterday to get the tractor back together without any luck.   When he found it bolted up this morning he thought Josh must have done it, not dreaming I could have been able.  Was a great feeling of accomplishment for me, especially getting it done without pushing past my limits.  Gotta order a rear PTO shaft seal for it, and soon need to start on the power steering bushings.

I'm coming off of Tramadol and have that loopy feeling also. Should be gone by this evening.

Good to hear your doing so well.

Got my PTO seal ordered, and the easy part is ALL the Massey 175 model years used the identical seal.  So many times they make changes between years which can get confusing.  Oh, and after getting out a bit, I quickly developed neck pain past what I want to deal with, so back on the pain pills a bit longer.  I'm no whimp when it comes to pain, but I've also had enough the last 10 days that I'd rather not hurt more than I need to.
