It could be my imagination, but I just went outside for a short time without insulated coveralls on, just a winter jacket & blue jeans.......and I'm freezing!  Temp is just at freezing point.  I think I've heard while on blood thinners that one feels cold quicker.  I'm feeling like that is true!  That or being off work has me weenied down!  :(

Dad's on thinners and he gets very cold quite easily now, so I would say your going to need more clothes on from now on.

Maybe a mix of both.
Glad to hear you got a few minutes of sunshine and fresh air, even if it was cold.

Like I've said, I will hit the milk parlor in the morning, but that is one thing I have not missed one bit.  Milking causes most of my pulled muscles, pinched nerves, etc.  But for now I have to return, like it or not, for it pays the bills, which will be much higher once all the health bills arrive.  I am going to be ok, so concentrate the prayers on Brian (Texas Deere & Horse).  May Monday bring wonderful news to him.

It's been below 32 degrees here for three days. I can't seem to stay warm at work. Might be because it was almost 60 degrees on Monday. Hard to get used to temperature swings like that! I keep telling myself that, in another month, 30 degrees would feel like a warm day!!

Oh ya, didn't think about that, still don't want to think about it.

Been out tinkering.  We have snow forecast for tomorrow night (just an inch or 2), so I fired up the MF1100 & put her under roof, letting her run a while to fully charge the battery.  Then I started the MF283 & took down to the shop for greasing.  This is the one of the two 283's my cousin brought over, and this one we bought from him.  Soon as I get in better working order, I need to take the 3pt arms off the burned MF175 to put on this tractor.  It never had 3pt lift as it had a boom mower on it it's former life as an interstate highway mowing machine.  I started taking the arms off the burnt tractor, but then the milk truck came, and the driver talked to me so long I was kinda ready to come in a while.

Later I went out to check all my Ridgid drill batteries and found my charger wouldn't come on.  It was covered, but wind blew cover off, and must have gotten too much moisture in it.  It's under warranty, but I carefully took it apart & cleaned out all dirt & dried the board off.  She's now charging fine as I type.

I also fed out 2 more rolls of hay. That's about it for me out today.  I was out over 2, maybe 3 hours and felt great!

Glad you got out to do some "tinkering", Daniel... and that you felt good after doing so. Really great to hear that!!! Going to take some time for you to get back to full power, but then you knew that already.

I am on the recovering side of things, so being others need the prayers more than I at this point, I've been posting how/what I've been doing on my farm thread HERE.  Look at the last couple pages.

I'm doing pretty decent, good days and bad, but it averages out way better than a lot of people that have gone through this.

I am glad to read you are on the mend, sir.  But, you and your family are still in mine and my family's thoughts and prayers and I don't see that ending.  Please take care, take it easy and may God bless you and all of our GTt family....

Went to my lung Dr today.  Good news!..........he said I would live till I die!   :smilewink:   Kidding aside, he said I was doing better than expected still.  And if the MRI of my neck next week shows they need to get in there for repairs, they could put me on shots & take me off the blood thinners temporarily.  So far, so good!
