No problem here.  If I do try something & it doesn't feel right or "smart to be doing....I'll quit & come on in.  I have no desire for another trip to the hospital!

Tomorrow likely no work at all. I'll be going with Teresa to town to check on one of Dad's new prescriptions.  VA won't cover the brand name meds, and the pharmacy can't go generic without the Dr's ok.  That means $300/month vs just $15 monthly.  So gonna see Dad's Dr about a prescription for the generic version.

You need to ease your way back into chores, Daniel! Don't bite off too much right from the start!

Forgot to say....I did a little work today.  Drove tractor to place 2 rolls of hay, then drove the small loader to bed the cow stalls.  Wore respirator to do the sawdust.  All easy work & felt great to do.  Just took an hour or so & limbered up some stiff joints.  Then came in & took it even easier.  Been my best day in a while now.

Still thinking about and saying some prayers for your recovery, Daniel. Sounds like you are doing pretty good. Glad you were able to do a little lite work today. Thank you for keeping us informed about how you are doing.

My understanding is that broad leafy veggies like lettuce and cabbage tend to thicken the blood.  When I was on cumiden I had to stay away from those veggies.

Daniel that is good news and I hope the other tests come back with the same good news.  My FIL is on blood thinner for the rest of his life and he has to go in once a month to have it checked.  It sure would be nice if you didn't have to go through that.  You are going to be weak for a while, your body has been through a big trauma so don't just jump back into the chores, ease back into them and give your body a chance to catch up.

Yeah, that's why when I was a bad boy and drank beer (which thins blood) while on it she said I better eat that stuff to offset what I did!-LOL!

Good to hear your doing better. Just don't push yourself too hard. I know you've got to be like me and getting cabin fever. I am going to send you some info on a discount coupon for prescriptions.

Went out for breakfast this morning, then took what seemed forever doing 2 seemingly simple errands.  One was very important though, as it pertained to a prescription for my Dad.  Got it taken care of.  Now I may take a nap while I can.  Tomorrow is my last planned day off duty, as I hope to give Josh the day off Sunday.  Hope it doesn't wear me out Sunday, as I want to get back to doing more.

It could be my imagination, but I just went outside for a short time without insulated coveralls on, just a winter jacket & blue jeans.......and I'm freezing!  Temp is just at freezing point.  I think I've heard while on blood thinners that one feels cold quicker.  I'm feeling like that is true!  That or being off work has me weenied down!  :(

Got an inch here last night white stuff.

My father was put on blood thinners, it changed how he viewed the cold, rarely did I ever see him shiver before. Fact is though Daniel, you made it though and got to go home, always good to hear from you

Medications can really mess with a person. Cold never used to bother me and now my feet and ankles are the first to let me know they need attention if it is at all cold out.

It's really good to hear your up and getting around Daniel. Don't push yourself too hard.

It's been below 32 degrees here for three days. I can't seem to stay warm at work. Might be because it was almost 60 degrees on Monday. Hard to get used to temperature swings like that! I keep telling myself that, in another month, 30 degrees would feel like a warm day!!
