The carbs weren't an issue, but the transaxles kinda ticked the nurses off!  :rolling: I am now free to walk whenever I want, but not gonna abuse it.  Pretty worn out from lack of sleep.  Still looking at Monday discharge.

Thanks for the update Daniel. I am glad to hear you are doing better. I might have missed it but did they say why you ended up getting all the blood clots?

Whole milk and something about a Camel, me thinks. Probably a lack of physical activity, also.

And the old standby, lack of #%£.

Our family carries a genetic clotting disorder.  My doc told me a couple years ago that since I was over 50 I'd likely never be affected by it....he was very wrong.

that's what my Dr. just told me even after I told her about you and the rest of my family. I think I'm going to get tested anyways.

Hope you get home soon, Daniel. I'm sure it will be difficult, but try to get some well deserved and needed rest. Will continue to pray for a good, quick recovery!

Just made 3 laps around the unit, then I had a nurse aid check my oxygen level.  Was 96%, so lungs are functioning great.  I've not been on oxygen since around noon.  Felt great stretching my legs, as I've never in my 56 years been laid up so much.  Gonna make several sets of laps this next 2 days.

Exercise is good, just don't make a marathon out of those laps!

Yes, honestly I realize i need to limit myself.   I started to go a 4th lap, but thought better of it.

Daniel, you have been pushing yourself for quite some time now. And I'm sure you will again! You have to learn when it's time to shut it down and rest!
