Here is My two Bugs, although not Volkswagons.

The orange 78 MG-B Roadster will be getting a full restoration with a few up-grades.

The green/grey primer one is rusted out bad, I do`nt know how much bondo is in the fenders, I am guessing a LOT. I will cut out the fire-wall and move it back to make room for the turbo charger of a 3.8 Buick Grand National engine I have had hanging on an engine stand for a few years, someday project.

1957 Harley Davidson 125cc Model B Hummer, the same motorcycle that My dad had bought for Me in 1964, the very same on. I had traded it for a car, always wondered what ever happened to it, found out it was setting out at a farmers, bugged the guy for a while to sell it to Me, nope, He was going to restore it. finally after about five more years had passed, He sold it to Me. No fenders and in need of a LOT of work.

As it sets today, runs like a champ.

A couple of interesting projects on the cars keep us posted. That's a good story on the bike. I always wondered what happened to some of my toys.

1.  I reeeeally hope your wife/significant other/ best bud doesn't wear that duster while riding on the road. Very short trip!!!

2.  The confusion all started with your first post titled "New member with the Bug"!

I hope you have enough room for your feet in the tunnel after stuffing that engine in there. Brings back memories of the Sunbeam Tiger days. Can you say Cramped?

Maybe install turbo under front seat, have some heat for winter. :rolling:

It seems that whenever I "MIGHT" be able to start on a project, something else comes along that is more important. I really do need a "SHOP" type of a building right here on the propity. Flood zone won`t allow any new concrete. Somehow, sometime, I will get it built.

Another project that I just thought of a while back.

Just got this TPI.jpg to install on My 93 K1500 GMC, 350 V8. but, I have decided to sell both My 93 GMC and My 91 K1500 Chevy so I can get a 93-94 Chevy/GMC K3500 diesel, one ton dually crew cab with a long box. Just have one bigger pickup, set My 8 foot slide in camper on it.

I guess I will have to install the TPI set-up on My 79 K2500 with the 400 SBC engine.

Most people do`nt like the 6.5 diesels as they seem a bit underpowered. I have worked on several of those and come to understand them a bit, they can be made to run quite well although, they would never keep up with the 7.3, the Cummins or Duramax in the hills. They can be had at a very reasonable price though, if one can be found without any rust.

Sounds like you have your own used vehicle dealership.
