Hey, OlG, Don't worry about it.

Been there, done that, I've actually left a couple of good forums because I got wound up about something someone said, and the ensuing argument ended badly.

politics and religion are a given, but where is line so the rest of us will know?

ford/dodge/ chevy, bolens/ john deere/ cub cadet..etc. kohler/briggs/ onan/ tec,?

We all have opinions even on our favorite brand of tractor, not all models live up to our expectations.

I think we all agree that any MTD made in the last 20 years is total junk, but can we say that without being "grounded and sent to our room" because someone may not like it?

Now see that is where it starts. MTD was still building a stout 900 series that most people don't know about up until about 10 years ago and the Cub GT's that they were building were still stout GT's up until a few years ago. Most people only know or think of MTD's bottom line LT's when they think MTD. It's usually uninformed or under informed statements that start these things and someone gets offended.

They didnt sell the 900s at walmart and the bottom of the barrel LTs is what most people think of when they think MTD.

White was a good line before MTD got ahold of it. I worked on one a few years ago that the guy claimed was only a few years old, had sat for half of its life because he couldnt get it to run, and was a completely worn out POS. The bill ended up being $375 to get it in "useable" condition. I doubt you could have sold it then for $100.
