I've never heard of such a thing as too many tractors.  Wow something new every day

Its all about making life easy.

If you have enough tractors to get 'er all done, you shouldn't have to sweat.

Except when you are working on the tractors.

But that's a whole other story.

I am blessed to have an understanding wife who loves me and understands my hobby enough to realize it is better than setting in a bar al night.  She asked me for a pink tractor and I got her one :D Of course I am going to put a 4cyl vw engine on there but I will still paint it pink for her .

I didn't know you were that old.  Is your 69th birthday soon?

Having one gt is like owning one pair of underwear..... sure it might work for awhile but after a bit it makes you very uncomfortable and really stinks. Be thankful he's found such a use full hobby to fill his time.imagine trying to bake a pie with only a spoon and a frying pan. Look at it like this it he doesn't have more into them than their worth. If this didn't sway you call me and I'll help get them out of the way

My wife thinks I have too many I'm sure. I think Jay Leno said it best when asked about all his cars so I just tell her its better to come home smelling like old engine oil than cheap perfume. At least she knows that I am just playing around with a bunch of old tractors. I also remind her that her purse collection cost WAY more than my GT collection and I can take these to shows, parades, and they clear the snow and mow the lawn, and take care of yard work.

I think I see the real solution here.

MrsNut just needs a tractor dedicated as her own.  No George allowed.

I told her that I wasn't planning on buying anymore tractors...anytime soon that is. Had to leave the door open a bit there. I bought a walk behind reel mower and a WW2 generator today, and for the life of me, I can't understand why she gave me "the look".

Too many tractors? Look at it this way MrsNut, you could have it as bad as my wife. She can choose a different tractor for each day of the month here! Too bad for her though, that she only has a weekend amount of tractors to choose from that actually run! :smilewink:

Shelly says yep, and suggested I renew my interests in drinking, gambling, and strip clubs.
