It seems to take a while when I unload photos .I'm thinking it's my cable internet it's either   5 or 7  mbps  downloading but it's only 1 mbps for either one . Would that be why ?

It definitely depends on your isp. The speedtest site is a good place to start that Auburn posted. Ours is limited going up but I have gotten 100MBs down quite a few times.

You will never get the advertised speeds. Whenever they test the speed it is always at the main connection with little resistance. Getting .64mbs from a 1MB connection is actually pretty good.

Our internet service is stinking expensive.  We have had the service for free for about a year now as our provider sold us a upgraded high speed service,,,what a crock... We track the speed and report and since they cannot provide the service we were sold they just keep crediting our account..

That's the only service we can get as of now ,oh well . I might try to resize the pictures before trying to load them because if I remember the site resizes them if they are too big .

I quit resizing pics way back as I don't care for those itty bitty ones I'm trying to look for something in. Site does a good job of resizing them from a computer. Most mobile pics are tiny and hard to see.

Al, I saw something from a Verizon guy that basically was cell phone Internet.
Looked like a big old fashioned rotating safety light housing, all gray, and mounted on your roof.

Might do a little investigation, I think he referred to it as 4g Internet.

Just ran my Comcast speed, 61.38/12.04, it could be faster if I went and swapped to the newest modem that I can get for free. Comcast may not be the greatest company, but for internet they're hard to beat.
