Beautiful work
Thanks Willie, I hoped to finish all the engine paint today to give it time to harden up before I started assembly and replacing seals and what-not, but as I looked around the shop I found more parts needing TLC.

Getting things sorted back out. Picked up the tools and put them back where they belonged. Cleaned up the work area for the next phase of this (engine assembly). Parts are sorted, internal on the left, external on the right. Still working on the rims.

Looks like you have things ready to go back together.

Looks great. Man, all those green bowls of bolts and fasteners would stress me out; I'd be stressed out on remembering what went where.

There are little labels with where they go in the bottom of each boul, like (#2 intake valve) etc, I also have taken about 200 pictures of each item before disembly, and lastly I have the maintenance and operator manuals. It is simular to the paper bag method I used for the chassis where I wrote on the bag what each contained...... All the bags are gone, and Old Girl's chassis is back together! I expect the engine will assemble easily as it is very simular to the Briggs opposed twins.

At least you don't have a Heath to dump all the neatly organized bowls of bolts into one big pile.

Can't you just send them a link to this thread?

Willie, I expected a comment on the Star hat rack! I took that picture for you.... Might be good to select a new one

I saw that. Maybe I should do something like that with my old hats. I meant to comment, but Steph brought me a plate of food and distracted me.

How do you hang your hat up there? And get it back down?

Work is taking a lot of my time right now, I tallied the cost so far and Old Girl is at $1,743.02. Off top of my head I still need... Couple cans more of paint, Air filter, fuel filter, two belts, and tires. At least a couple more months, funds dependent.
