Glad to see some progress here, even if it is just parts gathering. For the popcorn, get one of these to cook it on. I have found many uses for that little burner.

The pop corn was impromptu, I normally use the gas grill single burner which is outside the door. Too cold and wet  last night. Kenny, that is a great idea!

Today's progress, Wire brushed, sanded, and washed all the deck brackets. Just need a good day to paint. Tomorrow would be good but I have to work, Tues - Thur they are calling for a winter mix. I guess I'll see about getting the bearings on order and locateing a couple springs.

While waiting on funds for the bearings I took care of most of the deck brackets, and used JB to fill in some more rust areas caused by the battery. I still need to sand these again. JB takes a while to cure in the cold.

Yea, I picked up a spring that I think I can twist one end around to replace the broken one. I would like a OEM replacement but no luck finding it.

And if you found one, it would probably be in the same shape.

Looking good Larry very neat & organized project. Buying springs can be challenging. Going new is a good idea because old ones usually have worn ends or sprung.
