well that's it, time to make the mad dash and get everything under cover, winters officially here, didn't notice it till I put the dogs out at 7 this morning, theres slush on the ground and a fair amount falling however I don't think it will amount to much.

The "official end of summer" arrived here too. Yesterday morning it snowed. Only for a few minutes, but came down like a blizzard at times. No accumulation, thankfully! Wind was horrible... gusts between 40 and 50 mph! I'm guessing some of my leaves should be down in Kentucky by now! Bad part about all this... It was 77 degrees on Monday!!

Trick or Treat cancelled here!   In 30's and windy, rainy, some hail, and then few times big flake snow! We got it all as sample for the day. Today is sunny, yet cold in 40's, but Treaters to come out tonight I guess. What a dumb old holiday, they need to stop doing this old fashioned, now unsafe habit, keep it off the streets.  Seems old holidays CAN become obsolete, least with AGE it seems probable.  Ha!

Just sit on the porch and yell at the kids to stay off your lawn, you old codger.
