So, I guess the Sawzall or the Grinder??  Didn't see the tool used for cutting. I would be all-over the place trying that by hand. You did good job.  I'll just buy my wheels if needed, lots of offers out there. These sure look like WIDE ones though, maybe not so common?

I used the 4-1/2" angle grinder in the first pic, GL. They are 6 hole X 10.5 wide for the FF. A little harder to find than most wheels.

Got both wheels welded together. Welds prettied up and surface rust cleaned off. Got a coat of Rustoleum Rust Reformer on them. Need to go get some self etching primer for them. Then a coat or two of Hammered Silver. I'm hoping the Ag's going on won't need tubes so I can load them easily!

Got the wheels primed today! Then the NORTH wind kicked in. Cat must be facing South today!
