(hands over ears) La La La La

It's only supposed to be a couple of inches, but that's enough to remind me I'm not

ready for that stuff yet.

It's going to warm up after the weekend, so it won't stay, but it's enough of a reminder

to make me shiver.

Will, they were calling for it here too. At first 3" Then they said none, then 1", then no snow but lots of rain, now I quit listening... And will find out Saturday what the weather is.

What do you mean you're not ready? I thought you guys had snow drills all summer long as part of your national readiness.
Maybe I'm thinking of hockey games.

They are supposed to get up to 8" in New Brunswick on saturday. That's a coupleof hundred miles north of here. it sounds like it's a nasty storm that's coming up the coast.

Looking at the news right now, showing a trace to 1" for us in the next 24 hours. Way to early for my likes. Can't stop it but sure would like to.  Stay safe ,stay warm.                                                                                                                                                                     Roger.

It's only supposed to be a couple of inches

But, there are all those poor fuzzy little baby polar bears, whose very lives depend on that snow. They're in dire straits and may not be able to survive much longer. (This is where the photo of a sad polar cub with really big eyes should go.)

Woke up yesterday to half an inch of snow on the ground, -5 and overcast all day. Today is sunny, snow already gone but the ice on my goldfish pond is 1/4" thick! They say they are coming in today if they have to walk in by themselves!

Will, they are saying we in VA are due for a rough winter.  Someone also said there was a possibility for some snow Saturday, although most forecasts say rain.

I'm all pumped up.

Weeee.....

First thing this morning 5 am there was no snow.Looked out at 7:30 am and it was just starting, by the time 8:30 am came I had to  sweep the car off before heading into town. By evening it was all gone oh yeah we got about 1 1/2" of the white stuff.
